THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The heated football offseason has led to the State 7-on-7 Tournament in College Station, where four teams from 13-6A are competing for the hardware over the upcoming weekend.

The 2025 State Tournament is set to take place from June 26 to 28, with the highlight of the Division I platform set to be the most eye-catching event of the weekend.

While teams from all across Texas have battled through qualifiers to reach this point, only four from 13-6A braved the elements and emerged as strong contenders for the Championship.

College Park, Grand Oaks, Willis, and The Woodlands have played through intense competition to reach the pool stage of the tournament. Being in Pool L, Pool P, Pool D, and Pool B, respectively, each team will face opponents of a similar level to the expected level of the UIL State Tournament.

With the trust in the skill players to make plays happen without the protection and intricacies of linemen, each squad has to come up with innovative ways to get the ball to their best players under the intense pressure.

Each of the 13-6A squads boasts impressive talent in its skill players. Reliable arms at the quarterback positions pair well with the flashy moves of their receivers and backs to create unpredictable formations and patterns that will look to keep their opponents guessing in the first rounds of play.

For those looking to attend the tournament, play for Division I will begin on Friday, the 27th, at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex in College Station. Play will finalize with the crowning of the state champions on Saturday, but support for 13-6A will be welcome to all who can make the trip to Aggieland.
